			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When Water for Life discovered that many impoverished communities cannot afford the fuel or electricity costs needed to power their water systems, we worked with our partners to develop solar panel systems that provide low-cost and environmentally sustainable energy. The first solar-powered systems were installed last year in Sierra Leone, one of the most impoverished countries in the world and are operating successfully.</p>
<p>There are several different types of systems – reverse osmosis, solar panel, etc. &#8211; we will add a complete list soon.</p>
