Water for Life has responded to many critical life threatening situations where the lack of clean, safe drinking water and medical assistance means the difference between life and death.

Tsunamis, Cyclones, Hurricanes, Earthquakes and other natural disasters destoy regions and communities world-wide. Water for Life International serves to respond immediately to help give life back and rebuild these regions. Water for Life saves lives and stops waterborne disease - helping people help themselves by implementing Living Water™ Treatment Systems.

When Water for Life discovered that many impoverished communities cannot afford the fuel or electricity costs needed to power their water systems, we worked with our partners to develop solar panel systems that provide low-cost and environmentally sustainable energy. The first solar-powered systems were installed last year in Sierra Leone, one of the most impoverished countries in the world and are operating successfully.
